Cloth Bags made by village ladies

We decided to make cloth bags to store vegetables in the fridge fresh so we gave cloth material to ladies and asked them to stitch bags of three sizes large, medium and small and they were paid 15 Rs stitching charge and in two weeks they stitched about 200 bags and on the day of Installation of Rotary Club Bettiah Central these bags were sold to all the guests and club members just to motivate the village ladies who were very much interested to make bags.

Giving Cloth Materias for making vegetable bags

In the Saheli Centre at Lauriya sponsored by Rotary Cub Bettiah Central and Inner Wheel Club Bettiah Cloth materials were given to girls to stitch Vegetable bags to keep vegetables in the fridge which prevents the vegetables from drying and keeps it fresh. The girs were given three sizes of bags and were told they wil get stitching charge Rs 15 per bag and this was decided to sell the bags to members so that the girls will be motivated to stitch such bags. The girls were also given sanitary pads and were expained about cleanliness while using sanitary pads.
